My Chevy Avalanche has 358,000 miles on that big ass 496. Still running nice and smooth. I removed the catalytic converters, put a 411 rear end,and use 15W40 diesel oil. Keeps the motor clean and running strong.
And yeah I only get about 15 mpg. But I'm only 5 mins from work now. No more traveling for my old ass.
