On a happier note, I built these earlier. Old Hen says they're a keeper. I modified the recipe a bit, but the deep fry bit was really good.

Had a guy from Erie roofing come out to give me a bid on a new roof. Heart attack stuff! 91.5K for steel and 50.8K for 25 year shingles. Ouch. I'll be looking elsewhere.
How many squares is your roof?

Nope. The house itself is around 2100 sq.ft.
Just re did our house 5 yrs ago and paid 12K for 31 square
Hip roof ate a few bundles of architecture shingles.
Did the wacko Governer put a 50% tax of roof products LOL
