Wish I had 100 yards of open space around the place. Would suck to mow it ..

I don't think it is unnecessary exactly, just feel that it happens with other activities. Try a small batch and see what you think. Lots to read out there concerning it. Many opinions.

Reading GW's work, I think it was somewhere around the "anointed Holy Oil article he says both "up" and "down" results can be had by adjusting heat and duration. Somewhere around the qwet info, in the questions and comments area he talks about not decarbing, to avoid loss of terpins for full spectrum.
It is only necessary to decarboxylate if you are going to take the material orally, trans dermal, or rectally.

If you are going to smoke or vaporize it, the heat of combustion or vaporization will decarboxylate it.

When decarboxylating, the peak of the THC yield curve is at about 70%. Decarboxylating beyond that point will not increase the THC levels because the rate of THC conversion to CBN is greater than the rate of the remaining THC-A conversion to THC. CBN is a sedative vis a vis euphoric.

Bought this for my Wife. It is a grinder and comes with a deal made just for cones. And the grinder works great. There are handles on the side of the cone holder that slides up to push the filled cone out. Grinders were hard on my Wife's hands . This thing is a breeze. Comes with a packing stick to pack the cone where it's tight.
Also the little clear plastic thing on the end of the grinder comes off where you can scrape the kief off of it. The little metal things you see are to release the clear plastic thing where the kief collects.
The two little white things that look like guitar picks are what cleans the kief off the plastic cone on the front of the grinder.

If I lived out there, this is how I'd get back and forth to town.
