Just spent a day rewiring my wife's Tahoe after a squirrel ate thru the rear end wiring harness. Good thing that they do not like air/vacuum lines.
They chewed holes in half of the emissions hoses in my pick-'em-up truck. It sits outside, and I was driving my work truck every day, so it had sat for a while. But yeah - rubber and plastic alike. Them sumbeeches don't care. They'll build a nest, have their babies and nurse them under your hood, and EAT YER CAR!

Oddly enough, I've found that spraying under the hood generously with Brake Kleen helps to keep them at bay for a while. But it's just a deterrent.

I prefer offering an actual solution to the problem, rather than kicking it down the road. I hate 'em. The little fvckers sit up in the trees and bark at you, staring menacingly, then slink across your driveway (when your back's turned) to hop up on your tires and disappear into the undercarriage to do their destructive tyranny. Bastids.

Really. I always attempt to catch everyone I see. Spiders, I don't like them much. Ones that build webs are ok, but those creepy recluse I have l kill with no regard.

Bubba
Wolf spiders are stalkers...and they kill brown recluse spiders.

Look at that loving little face...

I rarely use horseradish. What do you do with all of it that you harvested?
Just got done cubing it. Should get about a quart of the finished product. We will gift most of it. Goes good with most meat and of course oysters. I do this every other year so we will have a two year supply. Tomorrow is the day. I have to wear gloves, mask and goggles to do this and has to be done outside or your house won't be the same for a few days,

do not recall when you posted the photos Unca , but it is nice to put a face with a name

love your peacock feather art work , I bet you can tie flies too

we have a lot of turkey feathers saved up and from the years I have been watching Brother Pute fly fish , I thought about making my own flies , seems like a relaxing hobby

so yeah , now I have a couple of Tenkara fishing poles and a few flies , now all I gotta do is head over to Jackson pond and catch something
