Be careful with your hot dog Brother, things happen fast.

Both mine are like sucking through a straw in thick milkshake
But lifting it up and down just a wee bit it helps open the airway is my opinion .
I cough my head off if I go over 400.
I find when weed is brown and crunchy to the touch its done
BE CAREFUL that end in vape gets Hot , ask my finger how I know LOL
Yes my finger found out pretty quick

About 372F is considered optimal on a Volcano vaporizer. I run mine at 6 on the dial or 374F.

E-Pens run between 420F and 550F.

Dab pens run between 400F and 500F. I run mine at 450F.
Do you feel the volcano is a good idea?
Curious how often people who "smoke" use a volcano over another method in their reach?
Is it a big deal like starting my gas weed wacker?

I use a Volcano or a Mighty to vaporize herb at 374F, because smoking that same herb reaches temperature over 1600F. My lung would no longer tolerate me smoking.

The Volcano is easy to use and the bag cools down the vapors even more. I vaporize off of one load until it starts to irritate my lungs, and then I reload the Volcano and collect the already been vaped (ABV) material for later extraction.

I mostly dab concentrates, but while they can be tasty and produce good effects, they don't produce the same taste profile or effects as vaporizing herb and some guests prefer herb to concentrates.

Is the one pictured considered an E-Pen? It’s a lot like the bag by being easier on the lungs than a Marley. I seem to get the best taste at just under 400. I’m thinking turning it up over 400 I would be coughing. I was just wondering what the best burn temperature to get the most out of my weed.

No, the E-Pens use a concentrate cartridge. Your pen appears to vaporize herb.

What brand and model is it?

Solo II Arizer

Yes it burns flower
Looking at the specs for the Solo II Arizer, it looks like the recommended operating range is 338F to 410F, which is about the same as the Volcano, so I would suggest starting at 372F.

I run it at the same temperature until it becomes harsh, but some folks like to continue to bump up the temperature to vaporize more of the available cannabinoids. As it heats up it becomes harsher to the lungs and it loses flavor.

I notice the same thing when vaping. Dogster got me onto this Cloud Connoisseur and it is nice. It usually sits around 450, but that isn't the temp you are actually vaping.

You use it on your favorite glass. The vapor is smooth and not hot or irritating, until the end like you said. Seems like the first hot that is losing flavor is strong, then I dump it.

I can see me walking to work with one
of those long volcano bags for lunch.
