one of our buddies, swampmaster has his garden outdoors and is in the direct path of the big blow heading our way...I've set him up with rooted clones for a few seasons now...

awww poor guy!

the feeling in one’s stomach watching the storm decimate a healthy crop is something I wish on no one

so yeah , it s always good to have a backup plan if possible

Pure respect

Outdoorin's farmer's successful odds are worse than those of blackjack in Las Vegas ..

after losing a few crops , I put up some shade cloth 40’ x 40’….

even then , big chunks of hail have made a few holes in the cloth

I'm whooped with a capital W. Got the back field finished, got the GDSOB deck off the Kubota, got the blades off and sharpened and reinstalled. I'm done. I'll get the bastard back on in a couple of days. Got nothing left to give today.

I'm witcha -- Just chain-sawed a shitload of Floriduh holly until I wore out two batteries for the saw, then the saw chain came loose and I figured I'd demo'd "Iron men and wooden tools". Hadda take a second shower to get the itchy stuff toned down a notch.

Brazilian pepper (Fla. holly) is a relative of poisy idy. Rhus toxin. Now I am itchin. Dammit. AND as tired and useless as a politician's promise.

Still dark out, so I can sit here with itchies all over my neck and arms waiting for sunlight so I can go out and wreak more misery upon the Florida holly.

Have to. Brand new lawn service is due to show up anytime in the next few days, and I have what looks like a haystack of wood out there on my back lawn.

Jeez.

Hey ya'll... cloudy and 71F here this morning, they are saying rain after 2pm. Supposed to have a barn put up tomorrow, but there is 82% chance of rain...I hope they will just come the next day, if they can....been waiting on this for a bit.

About ready to trash the veggie garden, nothing going much but jalapenos, and stink bugs are bad this year. I hope I might can get some turnips and mustard growing soon, been a few years since I grew any.

Good morning

found some Vietnamese black crossed with some G13 Hashplant and a few other equatorial sativas like Maui wowie and sent them down south where there is plenty of sun and plenty of time for them to finish

no sense in me keeping them in the fridge , been there for over 10 years so it’s way past time for somebody to try and grow them….
