Celebrated with 2 Birthday girls today. Wife and my mom. No, not the same day, about a week apart. Went to a new BBQ joint in town, and while expensive, the food was really good, followed by desert and coffee at our house.
My Dad was passing out, so my mom called it. lol

Up until 6 years ago, I used to celebrate two birthdays with my gals, my mother and my wife, on the same day 'cause they had the same birthday, 4/24. Of course Mom's was in the year 1921, and the wife's was in 1954.

A rainy day here starting at 39F and predicted to reach 52F.

Gym this morning and then Ford is due to fix their latest recall on our EV here in our driveway.

An invite to lunch out if Ford finishes our repairs in time.

A request for assistance building a CLS from South Africa, but no followup after I agreed to help within my boundaries, given our WolfWurx/Skunk Pharm Research court settlement, leaving me to wonder if it was actually a probe by the evil and nefarious empire to see if they could get me to violate it and open myself to yet another lawsuit.

I never believed in alien abductions 'til now. Sometime around midnight, I was peacefully browsing the site. Next thing I know, it's seven hours later, the ice in my coke is melted, the TV and laptop are still on, and I'm left with the question, are they really out there?

I got a recall notice on our Ford EV on the 120 VAC charger plug that came with the vehicle, but ignored it because we use a 240VAC after market charger. Sometime after I took our vehicle in to the Portland Ford dealership for its 30K checkup, I noticed that the 120VAC charger was missing from the rear storage compartment, and inferred that the dealership took it out to make the upgrades but forgot to put it back.

Since significant time had passed between the 30K checkup and me noticing that the charger was missing, I just let it drop.

Meanwhile service from Portland Ford dealership became so poor, that we switched to the Gresham Ford dealership, who recently texted me that we had a recall on our Focus EV and offered to do the upgrades in our driveway at no charge.

I said OK and they arrived on time, but when they asked for the 120VAC charger that came with the vehicle, I relayed my story of how our charger just disappeared. Low and behold, the Gresham Ford mechanic handed me a new charger and said, "Here, this is what they should have replaced it with."
