Last one I worked on had a clear glass window in the door. I sat and ate lunch while they put one up the pipe. Too cold outside, and didn't bother me a bit. I asked the dude how many people watch a loved one go up in flames. He said that it was mostly men and the person being cremated was their MIL. He also mentioned that they had to go through the ash with a magnet to pick up the staples from the cardboard box the person came in. Said they'd tear up the teeth on the grinders that they grind up what bone is left. He also said they looked for black blobs. The black blobs where gold teeth that had melted down.

That explains how a Good friend of mine has accumulated so much gold over the yrs
Yep he is in the funeral business.....................

Thanks everyone for your advise on the stomach bug. I felt better today, still had some minor body aches and fatigue but all in all I was much better today than yesterday. I slept for many hours yesterday. I'm going to bed early tonight, and hope by tomorrow, I will feel 100% by tomorrow.

Do you brew from scratch , make a wort using grains and sugars in a boil or from a kit?
I did kits at 1st then moved on to grinding my own grains and malts, made some kickazz
Belgiums too
I found some of the can malts made good beer too

Somewhat, I mostly use stuff from Mr. Beer, canned malt extract and hops, with additives...I have used the kits too, but Mr. Beer is a lot easier, and only makes two gallons. So I can have a little more variety...two gallons makes about 7 one liter bottles, or 17 sixteen ounce bottles, or 11 740ml bottles. Plus I have back issues, have hurt myself lifting a 5 gallon fermenter that was full.
Right now I have a few bottles of American Ale, just put 7 1 liter bottles of American Lager in the fridge, just bottled up 11 740ml bottles of Shillelagh Stout, and the two gallon keg I made today is a peach beer.

Good morning everybody. Post surgery sucks, but at least I get to spend some time at home and with you guys. Had a lumbar laminectomy/discectomy/fusion. I Had a hard time waking up from anesthesia. Having a ham sandwich, and yogurt for breakfast. LOL. It is going to be hard not going to work today/tomorrow. I have a show this weekend. I'll be asking for some help so hopefully i can at least rest from now until Monday. I will be enjoying sometime at home with my family. My MP family too.

Hey ya'll was nice, sunny and 71F today...would of loved to have gotten outside to enjoy it, but I was too busy making and cleaning up messes, trying to make beer. Finally got beer made, and in the fermenter...hope tomorrow is a better, pain free, accident free day...lol

Oh, Dear... A long time ago I went through my Homebrew Phase... I had lotsa crates of the old large Pepsi and Coke bottles.

The downside of home brew is the fact that it is better than anything you can buy in a store. After just a coupla years, I'd gained 40 fargin pounds.

Well, as long as y'all seem as innerested as can be, lemme tellya how I found out the little guys are the boys...

So I come out into the garage one day, and there is a pair of curlytails stacked one atop the other. Then I noticed the reason for the difference in size:

Male curlytails don't waste time growing bigger bodies, nossir. The spend all their growth whoremoans on their schlongs.

The little guy (ref: above pic) was on top... but the honey hole (which he was servicing) was on the bottom of the Big Lady. The little guy... wasn't.

morning gang. went down to the creek bottom to cut some firewood yesterday. promptly sunk the F-150 to the frame. then got a tractor stuck too. after 2 hours of digging and adding little stick s and crap to the tires we finally got everything out. zero firewood was gathered... the things i do to have a warm house each winter. on a side note, my plants are really taking off. finally hit that point were the roots are established and now will see a growth explosion!!!

I have an outdoor wood stove. That thing can eat some wood. Keeps me pretty busy cutting wood.
