Of course you have always been my ride homeNo surprise to me
Had recurves my whole life shooting with gloves or tabs.Holy shitbat-man!! It is too fargin late now for two reasons, but that is one good idea!
I gave my son, Puck, about $1500 worth of my ocean-submersible metal detection stuff last year. Every arrow has a metal tip. <-- It weighs exactly what a razor-tip hunting point does. Never occurred to me to use my metal detector to try to find my buried bolt. (With my shot-up shoulder, I cannot swing the thing properly -- or at all.)
But after a few weeks under moist Floriduh lawn/brush, they are no fargin good anymore (vanes get wrecked).
Speaking of wrecked vanes, I just ruined one of my arrows. Got lazy and just reloaded instead of walking to the target and retrieving the last shot. The second shot did a "Robin Hood" and hit the nock of the first arrow I had lazily/stupidly left in the bullseye.
(*sigh*) Live and re-learn...
Wow where’s my manners. Good morning everyone
please no ,one errant burp and I am done !NO You can not Shoot an arrow off of Joe's Head

Thanks for asking. The daughter left the house for the first time yesterday. Her first stop was our house. She has 4 good friends taking turns sleeping over to help her get some rest and take care of the kids. The 7 year old granddaughter is going back to school but my 10 year old grandson is taking it hard and keeping a lot in. He said when he thinks of his dad it makes him cry. He stayed home this week from school but wanted to go today as it is fun Friday and they get two recesses which he missed last week for leaving his homework at home. He has been trying hard to redirect his mind with video games and tv…Maybe going to school today will be a start for him. The daughter is staying strong signing a stack of papers yesterday about insurance and money issues. Everyone is hellhounding her about a funeral but he wasn’t a religious man although he respected everyone’s beliefs. She wants to have a celebration of life party instead at the place they were married. I wish people would leave her alone about that but there are a lot of heavy older church folks that don’t understand this “new” thing. On point today Subie !
How is the Family doing?
I seen you walk over and stick that arrow in the target.
I was thinking shot from 4 ft away
I have this pic in my garage

Gawd. That gets me right in the feels. Us old hardcases tend to be vulnerable to little kids with real problems. "God bless the child who's got his own..."Thanks for asking.
