Unusual front sight was it a special addition with adjustable sights?

Could be. I had a 1917 SW that used halfmoon clips for 45 ACP. I also had a Colt Trooper that looks similar to the one shown and was highly accurate.

Looks more to be a police special except the sights, if you zoom in on the cylinder I do not see moon clips
