Izzat a 1917 New Army Colt? I had one that sorta looked like that (if creaky 60-year memory serves). Hadda use half-moon clips to fire auto-rim .45's.

Could be. I had a 1917 SW that used halfmoon clips for 45 ACP. I also had a Colt Trooper that looks similar to the one shown and was highly accurate.
