Haha the grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence 🤪 The forest sometimes get outta control I’ve never added up the time I spend on my growing hobby/habit. It does fill up my time kinda like kids only better 😜 I do like to keep a lot going on so it doesn’t get boring waiting for something to grow. I’m retired so that helps too and staying home these days instead of going out with the crazy’s always helps having a project going on. Funny, I guess it’s because I don’t look at it as a chore.
thanks so much for your kind comments 🥰

june harvest time is finally over and it’s time to once again make some of that kief using the dry ice method. We loved it last time I made it. Last time I added two Josie plants that got all weird on me in the tent because of light interruptions along with all the sugar leaves and small buds from harvesting that season. It was a wonderful addition to our Marley joints as well as for Christmas gifts. Mr Subbie was sad when I told him we were out of “that powder stuff” what he called it.
This year, I wanted to make more and for it to be special too so I added a couple of plants to the mix buds and all. I chose an Acapulco Gold and a sour diesel plant because of their crazy smells. That sour diesel plant is pretty good, I also have a few jars of that for smoking it’s one of the better autos imo and bout burns your eyes while trimming it. Also added those two larf autos from the back porch as well as the trim from this seasons harvest. Made a grocery sack full of nice material for the cause. I’d guess 3/4-1lb. Mixed it all up for a little extra drying as some of it is still really sticky from not removing the sugar leaves before hanging them to dry. the dry stuff in the bag will hopefully help dry up the sticky stuff to make the process go better.

Godfather OG tent week 4 flower. No issues thus far except extremely growth which I can live with. Lots of leaves on these girls. I can finally see the pots beneath the grow from the top but need to go in again soon to pull more fans off. I’m really happy with the way these are stacking and I love the many long colas in my small tent too. It’s starting to smell a bit even with the tent closed. Perhaps I need to change that filter out before the next grow.

Do you have a vent at the bottom of your tent?

So I had to cover the the screens on the bottom because of light shining through and I'm wondering if the 6 in PVC pipe that I put through one of the holes that are for extension cords and whatnot would be good enough for bottom venting

I just found it. It was @KGBSkunky that made the vent covers. It seemed like a good idea. Maybe he will chime in…

I was going to 3D print the ends but found them already done on Amazon. The filter material and metal extensions came from Home Depot. The 6 inch ones work well for the bottom. I made four inch ones for the top of the tent but never use them. The bottom is where you want the air to come in. They work great and two pieces of filter material per blocks light but allows airflow.
