Question About Cannabis Pollination and Bud Production

I've never pollinated a plant before now. My research suggests that once you pollinate your girls, they begin focusing their energy on seed production and slow down or stop bud production. I am unclear on what to expect going forward.

I am in week four going to week five of flower. My cannabis has been pollinated for one week now. I see seeds swelling up all over, even in places where there are no flowers yet. Will buds continue to form? I've never seen a seed growing outside of a bud until now. I would think in the weeks to come, since the plant is done being pollinated, the buds will also grow.

Does anyone have experience with this?
