First off, good mornin all! Been reading this forum about a year and this is my first post. I know bcbud depot has a bad rep but I ordered from them anyway (my bad) I ordered white widow beans and when they finally came they looked like crap. Really small, and it took 8 days for them to crack soaking in water. It also took another 5 or 6 days for them to sprout. Well their 2 weeks old now and look really good. Im groing in dirt and using 400 watt lights.
My question is do yall think their really white widow or just some old bag seed. Thanks in advance for any input.

This might not be the answer you want but its the one you are going to get. BC Bud Depot isn't exactly known for their quality genetics, or even seeds that germinate for that reason. I had a friend order 20 beans from them and out of the 10 northern lights he got not one germinated. Out of the other 10 I think he got to and the bud was good. But bud is like pizza, its always good just a level of how good lol. Let me put it this way, I personally have never seen anything come out of there that would be worth keeping a mother of. If you are looking for a great canadian seed seller, bcseeds.com is great. Awesome customer service, great looking seeds and I'll tell you about the dope they grow when I'm done lol. Look for a grow journal if you are interested in them. Oh yeah and they are fast, like really fast, and Canadian, so no customs if you are in Canada.

Oh yeah Vancouver Island Seedbank looks awesome to I think I'm going to order some ******* incredible next time.

sorry to say but I ordered from bcseeds.com and was pretty disappointed. many cracked and irregualr beans. did get a few to germ and they did grow just fine, but the whole transaction was not what i had hoped for. the website looks great though - maybe they were just having a bad day.

took a chance overseas with hemcy and obtained much better results - nicely packaged and labeled and very consistent product. germing some flo right now for my next grow.

BC Bud Depot has a bad rep for 1 reason and 1 reason only... Very bad customer service including shipping times, which have gotten worse since they moved to the Dam...

As for quality tho, there quality is impecible, if you actually get the beans... Remember they are breeders not really retailers, but their genetics are surpurb... They have brought to market the BC purps which won the cannabis cup, BC god bud( multiple cup winner) which is considered by many to be one of the best indy's out, its right up there with endless skys. They breed BC kush, BC Mango and many others...

The biggest problem is getting the seeds.

Where did you order them from?

The problem I have with bcseeds is that they have multiple websites under different names but all being directed back to somewhere in ontario

I emailed them and asked them what was their affiliation and they said they had no affiliation, which I found very shady

Its all explained on their site. There was a sham site set up that was ripping people off. They copied the layout and everything from the bcseeds.com. There is a difference between bcseeds and bcseeds.com. Anywho, each to there own I don't work for them or nothing but I have had good a good experience with them.

Mass looks like they came through for you but I'm not willing to shell out the prices they ask for something I probably won't get.

no i get mine from bc seed king, they are basically f2's of BCBD 's strains mde by local growers, they are only 50 - 60 bucks but ya have to pick through some plants to find a good mom sometimes but well worth it for the genetics and the price point, I have no problems with them at all, very fast shipping and extras... A few others on here use them as well with great success

If you pick the right strain it really doesn't even matter that they are F2's because things like the purps and their kush are IBL's

Doing some digging, site looks identical, they are both registered under godaddy.com.

cool I'll check them out thanks for the heads up.

check em out sometime tater, bcseedking.com, not the largest variety but very nice strains

yeah they have the exact same order form as well, with the same address, but hey if you got the beans and theres no problems, i am probably just paranoid, lol

Looked over that THCsite, besides having the same layout they don't carry many of the same strains. Not sure what thats all about. Someone could be scamming. Not to sure though so all I can do is go with my personal experience.

Just because you are paranoid doesn't mean there aren't people after you. :D

it couldn't really be a scam site tho because they have the same order form and address... So either they have a stock load of different strains or everyone who orders from either site basically get the same thing regardless of what they order...

I really am not too comfortable that they would say they have no affiliation, with the same payment address

Yeah that strikes me as odd. Hmm weird, I don't think they send out the same thing though because each set of seeds was clearly distinct from one another, each set is growing at a different pace as well. But this is comming from a person who's view may be a biased as no one likes to think they got ripped off. Hope not, but we will see.
