I was reading another persons reply to a tread dealing with timers. Part of the conversation was about taking the plants outside when you have them on 12/12 lights/sun for flowering stage.

My question is this, wouldnt that be a good thing to do, outside light is supposed to be superior right? But some like to do the 18/6 lights on thing or the 24/24 lights on thing inside. Or would it be better to have your plant/s stay inside because it is used to being inside.

Any of that make since?

indoor lights can never compare to the sun. not everyone has that option. it never snows indoors.

umbras right, the 'quality' of light from the sun is superior to anything that you can imitate ID. BUT... there are a few negative aspects to daily moving in 'n out.
BUGS... you run the risk of introducing pests into your indoor garden.
Timing... the plant need to be moved in 'n out at precisely the same time daily for 'at least' 2 months.
In the northern hemisphere, we have already passed the fall equinox(12/12). Your plant will produce "more" thc under 12/12 than under lesser hours of light.
Temperatures... temps below 60F are detrimental to growth/production.
