Really nice grow. I remove leaf and don't hesitate at all at anytime. With a scrog it's almost impossible to not remove leaf. Your really kicking arse on this. All your plants look great. Onward to harvest soon.
Thanks dude ! Removing leaves is must yea! But since I'm growing the same strain for 3rd time I want to let some more leaves this time so I can see how it works better. Rh is kicking my *** though. Going to defoliate some more this weekendReally nice grow. I remove leaf and don't hesitate at all at anytime. With a scrog it's almost impossible to not remove leaf. 6 Weeks veg was a lot I think , wish I had less side branches, using the same strain but different breeder. The other one was shorter but that lemon skunk red pepper smell demn.. I hope this one will give something good too. Heavier yielder 100%Lookin squatchy in there. Bigfoot grows rock. Love seeing a successful busy garden.
It was a productive grow but way to much work. I'll not do that again.Daaamn they are looking so healthy
100? Got 86F few weeks ago and 3 of my girls threw balls insta death .
All 3 of them were the tallest ones , it was a combination of light stress and heat stress. My grow room is kinda weird, got 3x 450w leds and 1 600w hps that messing everything up. Going to buy one more led after this grow for sureIt was a productive grow but way to much work. I'll not do that again.
So ya think the heat flipped them?
You Trim everything below while in flower ? I'm so scared to lolipop while in flower ...I use a 4'X4' chunk of 2"X4" 9 gauge hog pen for my scrog. Nothing gets out 'til I let it. After they grow at least a foot above, I trim everything below the screen. I only trim the big fan leaves if they're blocking the light from the buds. I figured the big leaves are a solar panel for the plant. I'm sure others do different, but that's the way I do it.
Sounds like a plan to me !since I know that this strain is stretching lot I will flip to flower when 50-60% of scrog is full so I can bend them until week 2 maybe, I like some height.. just not this mess I got this time@Hippie420 Everyone has their own version of using a screen. There is no wrong way but there are ways to improve. As ya watch my Scrog over on my thread you'll find I don't let much any growth above the screen until I am sure the stretch is nearing the end. At or near the end week 2.5-3 there will be a flat screen with all of the plant pulled under. It's at that point I leave them alone to finish.
@ilv911 I trim below twice during a scrog grow. A little early in flower and again once it finishes the stretch. I remove leaf as needed and think nothing of it. Removing a main site is unnecessary with a scrog. I use the main to guide the plant along the screen where I want her. I stress the hell outta my plants and rarely does it have ill effect.
Right now I have the big tent going too. They are all in week 1 and I'm bending, twisting, and removing leaf. I'm really cranking on the main on them. Attached a long spike to the main and use it to keep them bent. Every few days I reposition the stake and adjust them down level with the other growth. May sound like a lot to throw at a flowering plant but if these were under a screen they'd be getting the same stresses.
