My first grow.

So i found some seeds in a bag i had and decided to start a grow (legal where i am) 4 seeds one grew. started Sept.1. planted seeds only one grew. Sept 19 transplanted to pot been on 16/8 . 10/19 trans planted to 3 gal. final pot on 16/8 . Nov 8 today will be changing the time form 16/8 to 12/12 . i am flipping it to flower so i dont out grow my tent 2x2x4. will expand later as room permits. My question is did i wait long enough in the veg stage ???? (i have till 6pm pst to decided weather to switch )

The amount of time in veg is only dictated by the space you have to flower. Lighting schedule can indefinitely keep a plant in veg, although you'd eventually run into pot size and nutrient issues, but even that can be managed.

Plants can stretch to twice the size they were when you flipped them. Not all will, but some will stretch even more than that. This is when plant training (LST) and scrog nets become handy.

Also keep in mind the amount of space you need to keep the light from the canopy. You need that space and a little more than twice the height of the flipped plant and you should be good. LED lights with a dimmer can be beneficial tight spaces like a 2x2x4. I have a tent that size and the Spider Farmer 1000 light works great for it.

Ty chad my first grow will be unknown since i dont know what the seed was that i planted . My research has me doing autos. Growers choice seeds gorilla glue and and cheese will be my first known grows both indica dominate .flowering time on those are 55-65 days. On this grow i did a little LST if i did it right i think i will have maybe 8 or 10 colas gorwing evenly. Topped it once at early veg. the pic i sent was after i did some LST . i didnt do alot as im just learning and didnt want to over due it for my first time. not really worried about amount more leaning to learning how to grow. setup is 2.3x2.3x63 marshydro tent, ac infinity inline 4in fan , and the sf 1000

unknown or bag seeds have there disadvantages like could be a male which would be a bummer could be a female to. hope its a female and turns out to be good for you. my first grow I did the same but I did 10 before the first state to legalize medical mj. I was 14. got lucky and got just 1 male. grow looks good. good luck

Its probably one of these. If the plants are up high, its lighting burn. Rule that out its mild nutrients burn or ph. Why are leaf tips brown, burnt, or yellow? | Grow Weed Easy

yesterday did a top dressing i was due black magic fertilizer 555 and 1/4 tsp of flower fuel . in structiions says 1/2 tsp per gallon for the fertilizer 1 1/2 tsp. and 1/4 tsp of the flower fuel those instruction were 1/4 tsp per gallon i only used 1/4 tsp for my 3 gallon pot

Ph is extremely important. If its off your plants cant absorb any nutrients. You're pouring money down the drain

Test your ph of water out of the tap. Then test the ph with nutrients mixed in. Amazon sells ph up/down with a test kit for 20 dollars. I highly recommend buying it
