Yes get rid of it it will spread
Comes after the plant get wet and remains wet where the leafs are touching each other, Bud rot starts this way. the bud may have it in its center if you di not catch it in time
Best thing you can do, did you take the bud too?
I cut the branch off that was bad. I have my plants in a green house right now because I'm trying to prevent bud rot. I just didn't want them spreading to the rest of the plants. So now the two plants that had the bud rot are outside now.
Now just a dead hanging Sug/leaf does not mean Bud rot looking mind you. But if it all funking moldy looking you need to examine the bud it came from to make sure before removing it.
Did the center of bud have any rot too
Next time slow down a bit, what if someone had said no

Sounds like you are in High Humidity area
and in a green house, I hope you have open flaps and doors on it
The greenhouse will contain more heat and humidity than outside will. Get a fan on them too

No problem once you see budrot you will not forget it

Sometimes the leaf can be safely removed if the rot has not reached the bud.
I do have a fan on them. Also I have a dehumidifier in the green house it's plugged into a rain bird. And I have a incline fan with filter running

I'm flushing temp right now. Because their close to being ready. I'm seeing all cloudy on my scope.
