My theory right now, is that my plants are vegging under 180 watts of light, the flower tent has a 450 watt light in it.
The only thing I can figure is that the instant change in wattage is kind of shocking their system.
I am hoping that keeping them under the same wattage from the get go will solve the problem.
I will say, I didn’t have near the issue with hermies when I had an HPS in the flower tent instead of the LED.
I have also considered moving the 450 watt LED to the veg tent, and putting the 600 watt HPS back in the flower tent.
I also feel like that would solve the issue.
Its sounds like a plan

I miss the production of my 600w hps in a cool tube.. big ole 465cfm fan cooling it... did I produce some buds back then bro. And since you really don't battle the heat issues as much, especially during these months, I'd almost run both. Used to even go as far as waking my plants up slowly.. 2 LED daylight spectrum first half hour, then the big light would come on, repeat at lights off for 1/2hr... kind of mimic sunrise and sunset.. most of all though, I enjoyed the cool tube setup with a 600w light inches above my plants on a 2ft x 5ft long screen of 6" long buds.

We just had a big hermie issue on the Acapulco Gold I turned my buddy onto and the male nanners were tucked up inside the buds and really never seen anything until the damage was done to the entire room... ruined 4 big big plants too... Maui Wowie full of hermie seeds.... told him I'd toss everyone of them so they cannot be shared out or grown out to only ruin you day again.

I hope you get things figured brudda.... hoping it's not just the genetics... but the Gabagoo should be solid stuff..
