A bitter cold morning, so I'm indoors cooking up some edible capsules. I'm following the recipe from my previous thread with some adjustments here and there.
I ground up 1/2 ounce of fresh OG Kush buds and have them decarbing at 220° for 34-40 minutes. I like to cook the oil in a small crackpot I use just for weed at low setting for three or four hours. I'm using MCT oil and 1/2tsp of lecithin.
Last try, I used 1/2 cup of oil and filled 127 caps and still had some oil left over. The size 0 caps I'm using have a volume of .68ml, so to fill 100, I need 68ml of oil which is about 1/3 cup. That's not a lot of oil to put the weed in, and my calculations at that volume are yielding a bit over 20 mg per cap. So, I'll use a bit more oil and fill more caps to keep the dosage down to Ms Zuma's preferred levels.
