i am soon moving and want to set up an indoor grow...ive only done outdoor so im not exactlly sure what i should be looking for...ive done research but just want to know other growers opinions...im going to be growing between 6-10 plants...i want to get an hps but im not sure if 400w would be enough or should i go with more??...also if anybody has some info they wanna share and knows some good sites where i could loo at them that would be greatly appreciated:bong2:

400 watts will probally grow 4 plants well but for 6 to 10 i would go with 600 watts or alot of cfls like i got.

bigtree.. i have 400w and i have grown 1, 4, and am about to start 6 plants under it... one turned out amazing, 4 also turned out perfect.. and im thinking that the six will be just as good... the only reason i use 400 is because i have limited space... i would say if you have the room for it.. no reason not to go with 600.. expesually if you plan on doing 6 or more at a time... always better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it... plus the price diferance between 400 and 600 is not 2 much..

go with the 1000 HPS more light spectrum perfect for 10 plants.....im doing a 1000 watt with 10 og plants they LOVE IT

Ive done 1000 on a waterfarm 8 bucket inside of a closet as long as you vent right you'll be fine

thanks for the input guys..im gonna check out 600 and 1000w lights...are there any sights you guys recomend ordering from?

More important than how many plants you want to grow is: How big is your space? You want to get 50W per sq ft in your grow space. Provide adequate lighting for the size space you are going to grow in. That should be your determining factor in deciding on a light.

The number of plants is a rather irrelevant number. You can squeeze plants in at the rate of 4 per sq ft or you can grow a tree that fills a sq yard.

good point...im going back to look at the place again 2night...ill have to get some measurments
