When you say mildew, do you mean budrot?
No ma’am. It’s powdery white mildew. It tends to rest on leaves and work it’s way into the buds instead of the other way around. When you say mildew, do you mean budrot?
Can I apply that to buds that are hanging up?Oxidate for the win
do not use Eagle 20……poison

I seriously have my whole years worth of weed already hanging up, and I still have two plants to go. I will be throwing out every stitch of weed that has signs of mildew. That’s not how I die.that is a good question
the instructions say that Oxidate can be used 24 hours before harvest on eatable fruits and vegetables , it off gasses pretty fast
but we are not smoking any of those fruits and veggies , so there is that to consider
i do not know if it would work on already harvested buds
but you can perform an experiment and spray some buds and observe if it has eliminated the powdery mildew
everyone has their standards and limitations and we are all different
having said that , I would not smoke any flowers that had signs of powdery mildew and that is because I have to protect my immune system….

I’ve just been cutting the bits of PWM off and I haven’t had a problem since they’ve been chopped! All in all, I’m not sweating it. I’m certainly being cautious of it, but I’m not letting it keep me up at night.I ran into mildew on an outdoor grow once. I hacked the buds and carved out the mildewed part and turned the rest into bubble hash. I've got asthma and am allergic to mold/mildew, and it didn't bother me a bit.
YMMV.

Thanks for weighing in! I’ll make sure to do that when I bring them out in the mornings! If your growing outside, and looks like you were, try going out early am and give them all a little shake..
what will happen this time of year is, heavy morning dew. As the sun rises it dries the heavy dew right where it is and thus, over a few days, can cause this very issue.. IMHO. Or, you can do what I did and give it to 3 of your 4 flowering plants by trying to kill fungus gnats with hydrogen peroxide.. I used WAY to much and the results was a huge outbreak of powdery mildew, I had to chop 3 down, throw away 2..
UBC Chem x M39 was the only plant that held up to it... so, I'm going to breed with Barefrog's pure UBC..
The air circulation part may be a bit tricky since it’ll be under a tarp, but I’ll try to set it up such that air can move through it nicely.Keep the rain and dew off of her and keep air circulating. She'll be fine.
