Hey Hammy (and/or anyone else) - I have the chance to use a second King LED 1500 on my next grow. My room is 4 x 5 and I've been able to squeeze 6 plants out with one KLED 1500 - I do that many because I can't grow all that often.
My question (and it may be dumb) is: With 2 1500s, do you think it's more advantageous to run 9 or 12 plants on this grow? My air pots are 11" diameter and fitting 12 in would be no problem. I guess I'm unsure if 9 would benefit enough from the additional light to produce more bud than 12 slightly more crowded ones getting slightly less light.
I only get to grow once every year or two, so I want to max out this chance to use a 2nd 1500 without having to buy it first. This also means that I'll grow a variety of strains together, which can make maintaining the canopy interesting. On my pics, each cube is a square foot. Before running light tests (have no PAR meter), does the third pic illustrate an optimal place to hang the KLED 1500s, or is testing a necessity?
Thanks, Hammy - and thanks anyone else with info
PS - ****, forgot to complement you on those massive buds, man! Beauties!
