I have a couple of seedlings indoors right now, and i am waiting for the last of the cool nights before i transfer them to their final outdoor destination. I stupidly moved one of the seedlings from one container to another I thought would be better for it. I am well aware that you want to move the plants as little as possible so they do not go into shock, but i took great care in moving the dirt and keeping the roots in place. The day after i moved the seedling it started to look unhealthy ( dry, a bit crumbly on the leaves edges, wilted); however the stem, bottom two leaves, and the heart are still in tact. Could a move like this kill the plant? and is this a common reaction to small plant shock?

It all depends. What kind of soil did you move them into? From seed I assume? How old? What strain?

Probably just transplant shock. I plant my seedlings in dixie cups and then transplant them outside when they are about two weeks old without any major transplant shock. I wouldn't worry about it too much at this point. It will most likely grow just fine. If it starts spreading, let us know and we will try to help you. Some pics would help though. Take care and be safe. Keep us posted.
