Hey it's joe from joes grows. Just recently purchased a 2 by 4 by 6 tent a little bigger then I wanted but now I have a reason to hwt another light and a ventilation system in it . It fits perfectly in my closet and ill have enough room to do . Quite a few autos or even some photos with them . Here's an update on my ladies also.pappys secret stash twp in one pot are small but buds up every stem and smell citrusy gas the one that is second largest is about two weeks today I pulled the cotyledon leaves the bottom two single leaves also two leaves growing up to that were blocking some shoots and also did some lst and pinched and bent the top so the others will catch up. The small pots are from cartys and they are one eyed snake bait I have two started and one more just put into soil also I will be starting five hbmms and they cwill be getting
Bread so I can make myself a lot moe auto seeds . Tonight I will put pictures of my pineapple express it stinks to high heaven I may have to make a homemade green house because the stench until I get a ventilators I'll keep everyone posted for now on o here

If anyone has any suggestions on another light or a ventilation system that isn't too pricey feel free to chime in or anything else I can do to make these babys thrive

Some of the ViparSpectar lights are a great value on sale. For a 2x4 tent you could use either a couple of their XS1500 Pros for around $80 each or the XS1500 with Samsung and Meanwell driver. They have a less expensive 100watt Samsung with another brand driver for around $60 too.

They list sales on Amazon all the time. Plus the coupon discount are available from time to time. 3 of the XS1000s when they got a good sale or Pro 1000s would be more than enough for a 2x4 and you would get the more efficient Samsung LEDs.

2x4 rocks with either mars hydro tsl 2000. For a little more see that SP 3000, I have 3 of those.

If attic is overhead, I would vent through ceiling of closet. If another room overhead, may be a bit trickier!

If I have a carbon filter it's going to blow right into the closet it's in do you think that's fine I will also be buying two fans two suk air in ? Or it needs to go outside I was thinking of running something out the window idk though any thoughts are greatly appreciated I just want to lower the great smell for neighbors and visitors that don't appreciate the beauty and smell of mother nature ...

If you don't get exhaust out of the closet, the recirculation will cause heat to go too high.
Fresh air in, exhaust must get out of the room, or closet in this case.

I have 2 autos in my 2x4 veg tent. I have a Viparspectra P2000 in there. Plenty of light for that space. The only ventilation that I have is leaving the tent open and a small fan. I also leave the windows open. I don't have to worry about odors where I live though.

I run two 2x4 and one 4x4. The two 2x4 exhaust into the room tent is in. Fresh air from outside room. Each 2x4 uses a Mars Hydro SP3000. The 4x4 uses a single Mars Hydro FC-E 6500. It vents outside, pulls cold air from first floor. In summer, I fought 91 degree heat and 70% humidity inside the tent, in an air conditioned house. Lights at 75%.

Only way to find out is try it and see. Don't see the wisdom of putting a tent inside a closet....why not just set up the closet?

Bubba is right ceiling will be your best bet and if you move it’s easy to patch

Yeah I have a 4x4 flower tent that has 2 King Led 2000s in it. I run them 8pm to 8am to beat the heat of the day. Inline fan no filter pulls air into the tent and I was able to still keep tent below 85f during the worst part of the summer. Even without venting outside. I kept the central air at 65f during the night. Electric bill took a hit but I was able to grow through the summer when usually I would shut it down for a couple months.

Bubba is right ceiling will be your best bet and if you move it’s easy to patch

Or if there is another room on the other side of closet wall. You can put a nice metal vent up high and it will look like a cold air return. That room will run warm!

Yea wife wanted it enclosed happy wife happy life lol well see wat happens so far doesn't get hot been a week and a half I have two fans coming they are four inch or 6 inch they will bring air in from the closet. I have an ac and window fan that I always use in the room I think it'll be good I'll have the carbon filter to smell. Well see how it goes I guess

Im just gonna try and use these fans that pull air in and the carbon air filter that filters the air will be the one that blows out the tent wala !!!!
