Cleared all the snow from driveway and walks at dinnertime yesterday in anticipation of appliance delivery this morning. The wind howled all night and dropped another inch or two of snow, so shoveled the walks again at 11pm. I woke up and repeated the whole process at first light for the delivery guys. I disconnected our gas range when they arrived, only to find the glass on the new oven door had broken during shipping. So, I get to do it all again Wednesday. At least I'm retired, but we've been dealing with that flu bug for a couple weeks. My energy levels get depleted quickly with this illness, so I just woke from a nice nap.

Medical appointment done, but alas she found a-fib, even without tachycardia.

The electrical upgrades went smoothly with only one add on for replacing an undersized wire to the hot water heater.

Even got the roses trimmed for the year between rain showers.

Calling it a day and firing up the Volcano for some Juicy Fruit that was gifted to me a couple years ago and has been in the freezer after I made my initial evaluation and comments!

There is a med that can make one stop drinking.
When I was in the hospital with a diverticulitis attack, after they pumped me full of crap for five days, they sent me home with a script for something. Doc said not to drink while taking it. I guess I looked at him funny 'cause he said, "Really. One beer/shot and you'll be puking like a frat boy. It's a sister chemical to Antabuse." I took him at his word.

Just took a triple set of pharma for my back pain, and added a Lyrica 150 mg (pregabalin, similar to gabapentin) for my diabetic neuropathy. My feet felt all numb and tingly, and this medication really helps control it. Also makes me feel sleepy, so that is another benefit. Hoping to get some decent sleep tonight, but there is YouTube if it doesn't work out, lol

Cloudy with sprinkles here starting at 43F and predicted to reach 51F.

The Portland electrical inspectors are due sometime to day, to check out the new load center install at the duplex but I have to call them after 08:00 to find out when.............

I test drove the new memory foam matress cover last night and slept OK and didn't wake up with screaming hips or shoulders, so so far, so good....... I like the thought of just the topper vis a vis a split, to facilitate snuggling, one of my favorite bedtime activities.

No gym this morning and a clear calendar beyond electrical inspection, so a good day for mischief and debauchery.

Jag question
Im not diabetic but doc said I need to be careful.
I too suffer from unbelievable foot pai at night after lying in bed for an hour or so. My question is at what point did your pain come on and is it a severe burning needles and pins (numb at times but always painful even to the lightest touch)?
I have lower back injuries that doc said must be causing my pain due to the fact I have not reach diabetic levels .
My feet literally feel as if I was caned with bamboo shaft and then burnt with a blowtorch for good measure,
Had this pain for over 30yrs now I am tired of it. Never tried Lyrica but did try Cybalta 20 yrs ago which was not much help at the time.
Thanks
