My baby reminded me how my grandpa used to call me his "cocoa cowboy" while he was drinking his morning cup of coffee. And here I am, drinking a cup of hot chocolate before we go to bed. I guess grandpa knew me better than I thought, even all these years after his passing.

Good Frieday morning brothers and sisters!

Cloudy with sprinkles starting at 33F and predicted to reach 41F.

I'm closing contractor bids today, with or without the remaining bids. Failure to meet schedule on the bids is insight to their performance after they have the contract.

It looks like we will be well within budget on both the window replacement and the rental electrical, so I'll proceed to get the bids for repainting our house as well this year.

Alas I also notice that the paint is falling off the rental that we had painted two years ago in big blisters and sheets, so I need to take that contractor to task.

Another episode of A-fib but it stopped after I took Metoprolol. I fear I may not be able to get off the Metoprolol until I get weaned off the DULoxetine that is causing the A-fib.

Good morning, Misfits! 24 outside with a windchill that brings it down to 16, but a promise of 33! Can't do anything about it but roll with the punches. Got one of those artic cold fronts moving in in a couple of days that'll make this seem like a heat wave.

Got a few projects to work on today. Wonder if I'll get to them? Seems like the only thing I'm good at lately is being lazy.

Hey Hopper, How is your crypto doing this morning? Mine shot up overnight, big time!

My XRP was up 600 bucks yesterday but Its back down a few bucks and holding steady this morning.
My Bitcoin is up a little more this morning.
After Monday when DT takes office I believe it's going to go up even more. He is pushing Crypto pretty good. That's why it's up now according to the market analyst.
All my Crypto and ETF stocks are doing really good. Got a feeling it's going to be a good ride. I never put money in stocks that I can't afford to lose but I try and invest wisely and I study the stocks before I invest.
Technology, Health/ Pharma,and Crypto are the ones I watch.
My Verna Pharma is up almost 500.00 and I only have 22 shares. Got that about 10 months ago. Only invested 600.00.
Returns like that are not going to happen with a savings account or an IRA.

Partly cloud and dry, starting at 30F and predicted to reach 46F.

No A-fib yesterday and clear this morning without taking the Metoprolol. Still taking the Eliquis.

My new smart watch arrived and I've now got to figure out how to program and use it. The destruction sheet is in many languages, but the original was clearly not Engrish. It will keep track of my BP and pulse rate, among other thangs.

No more electrical bids came in, even after I gave them a week with two reminders and a closing date. Guess they aren't hungry and the good news is that the one bid that I got is reasonable and from the company that would be my first choice.

No gym today and nothing on the calendar, so looks like indoor sports and wanton debauchery!

I've been on Plavix for several years. Careful and don't cut yourself. You will bleed a lot more than normal.
You fart wrong and you will get a bruise.

Morning folks.

Feels kinda warm out there at least to compared to most of January so far. Of course it isn't going to last as we are supposed to have a polar vortex next week, temps mostly in the single digits, and that's cold. I remember once it got down to -35 f, my car wouldn't even start.lol ridiculous.
Got a friend coming over tonight to drink some scotch and smoke some weed. Should be fun. other than that I will be playing guitar and doing housework today.
