Thanks to Roster and Flower. I was kinda feeling beat up about the price, but it sounds like it wasn't all that bad.
I was thinking earlier how I should have had them do the driver's side and hoped the passenger side held 'til spring, but a blown brake line just ain't any fun. They said it will be ready tomorrow after noon.
I could have just parked the thing until warmer weather and drove either of the Jeeps, but I don't want the TJ to die from Michigan salt cancer, and the plow Jeep ain't too stingy with gas, so.....
Never replace brake components on just one side - one axle, yes. But both sides, always. If your left brake hose blew, chances are the right side isn't far behind. Same with locked up/defective brake calipers.

I have owned bought and sold old cars that have never had belts or hoses changed with over 300,000 miles on them
The only belts that break are the newer cars, timing belts mostly, they bury them deep inside of the engine.
They do it on purpose so greedy dealers make more money.
Designed to break, built in obsolescence.

I agree , did I miss that?
Front and rear pads can wear different, but the lines will all clog if one is starting to do so withing a short time.

Good morning folks. 30 degrees and sunny here. Trying to dust the sleep outta my brain. Weird dreams last night, but pleasant. Saw a lot of folks, some passed, some still breathing, all friends.
Supposed to get the van back this afternoon. The wallet will heal. I just can't justify leaving my best gas mileage vehicle to set all winter while I drive the gas guzzlers. The little bugger gets 20 MPG around town, and 22-25 on the highway. She dances in the wind due to her high profile, but she still tracks nice through the curves. You don't see too many 2010 vehicles around that have an honest 41K miles on 'em.

I'll be totally honest for once.

Trying real real hard to avoid the whole Michael Douglas and Falling Down scenario ;););););););) targeting random meth heads in my area. I had dreams about a tandem but that has passed. I got some errands this morning. FIL in hospital again and not doing well. Headed in to kill off my Gab I screwed up, (My Fault !!!!! - Ligit - Was so wanting to make Carty proud but...) - Wipe everything down and drop seeds. I might put a list of choices up and let some one pick. Let you pick ??? Looking for an easy but heavy harvest this time around. Mrs. Monkey and I are only looking forward to the finish of 2023 and we have something critical in March. We could skip Christmas and head straight there. State is attempting to screw us out of OR into our day care bill for their kids. Every time we think the sun is about to shine it only gets stranger.

Just want to scream sometimes.... "Thank you may I please have another !!!!!!!!!!!!!" -- And almost forgot - Jebus hates me... I pretty much deserve it though...

Coffee and pinch hits for everyone - I'm buying.

And as I turn to take the little one to day care right this second - she has covered both her cheeks with magic marker. - Guess what - she's keeping it for the day.
The worm will turn Brother
You are a Good person, remember that.
But Vent once in a while and you can vent to us here.
Hellll I do it all the time, and people still Love me LOL
