Good morning brothers and sisters of the Island!
A wetly heavy rain day starting at 53F and predicted to reach 63F. It was pouring like a cow peeing on a flat rock when I got up this morning and I predict some street flooding with the leaves plugging the street drains here and there.
I was able to sleep last night using two pillows between my thighs but somehow added a crick in my neck to go with my lower back issues and I'm moving slowly this morning.
I'm embracing the rain as it keeps the picketers off our street and out of our face. Portland Public Schools teachers are on strike and there is not enough traffic in front of the local high school, so they are picketing on this side of the park where there is more traffic, with lots of yelling and horn honks from supporters.
