I never been over 170. It was a Dodge Super bee with a 383 Magnum.
I wanna go to the Texas Motor Speedway and sign up for the race package thingy.
You get to actually drive a NASCAR. It's a little expensive but would be a Fking blast.

Coffee time.😁

What is the fastest you went on your Scooter

Respect to all who take the time and money necessary to do it right. There are two car shows a year that feature cars from the 50's and 60''s in the park near me. My own personal fav is a 55 chev followed closely by a 67 nova (Chevy II).
Except for one 84 Fox body 460 T-bird, all of the cars that I restored were in the 60's. I loved them all, but the last and most expensive one was a 67 suicide door T-Bird.
Not to forget Auntie Green Springs?
oh hell dude, that's something you never forget...I drive a helliphant powered challenger a while ago...that's a ride you'll never forget...pulled like a freight train after a computer assisted launch...1000 hp in a commuter car...geebus
Brutally busty acceleration and go cart handling is my passion too. I restored one 60 T-Bird completely stock, but the rest were all re-engineered sneakers in classic car bodies. They all looked and mostly sounded stock, but had upgraded wheels, suspension, brakes, engines, and power train.

The limitation is getting enough traction and keeping them pointed straight with limited slip rearends. My 65 Sunbeam Tiger with a turbo charged and intercooled 5L HO, tried its best to go sideways when you grabbed second.

yeah, but the blacktop between the lights and signs are where the fun is at...I've been over 200 mph twice, it's a rush, lemme tell ya...both in 6 cylinders...
I've been over 135. Yeah, it's a rush. A GOOD rush!
Especially when you're jammed back in your seat the whole time you're getting to those speeds. :D

Never been 200, though. Unless you count aeroplanes. 🛫

Good morning Island brothers and sisters!

Yet another gorgeous day here, starting at 58F and predicted to soar to 82F

Thank ya'll for all the anniversary good wishes! We celebrated with dinner out and brought enough left-over Chinese food home to celebrate again today.

Listen up you guys, Grayfox was blown away by my hand made card with our wedding picture on the front and mushy heart felt content inside. It's currently displayed on our mantle, and she says she plans to carry it in her purse to show her girlfriends.

Easy to make out of one sheet of photo paper and a copier, with extra normal returns on the investment..................................

About 120.
My sister had a crazy boyfriend who had a supped up Bike BIG engine swap way back when, I was young and stupid (as opposed too) OK jokes over
But he took me for a ride down a 1 mile stretch of roadway that lead to the town beach. We all did our speed tests their and of course Friday races.
Well of course when he said wanna ride the Beach road today
I jumped on the bike and we went. We went down the road doing 120ish I was watching speedo, no helmets just raw speed.
Amazing how fast it feels on a MC compared to a car. I always loved this about bikes.
OK now on the return trip and him having just installed new oversized jets in the carbs, he tweek the carbs one more time and the bike came alive. We open her up and the speedo pinned at over 130 maybe even 140, it was wild and I was a bit scared (this dude had just come out of prison for murder and was really crazy (mental hospital released him ) . OK back to story, We were screaming down the road, the pavement had holes and blacktop missing in many places, (setting the pic)
NOW he told me to lay down over him while he lay down also to get less wind resistance (bike would go faster), I complied, and the bike hit 140 . Just then he took his hands off the bars as one would do on a bicycle, and we rode half a mile at 140 on bad pavement and survived. I loved it but never got on back of a bike again.
