Good morning brothers and sisters!

Mostly cloudy today starting at 57F and predicted to reach 76F.

I whomped up a big batch of fried green tomatoes yesterday using Tony Chacheres fish fry for a coating, which were good, but didn't like it any more than my corn meal and breadcrumbs recipe.

D Gold, author of Cannabis Alchemy in the early 70's, just published Buds & Keys & LSD, a nostalgic look at our US history with psychedelics. Available in digital and soon to be available in hard copy.

I had that book. Cannabis alchemy. Still have it somewhere.

Did yall know you can drop your phone in alcohol and it won't hurt it. Even helps keep it clean. My son showed me that. Freaked me out when he did that to his phone. I thought he had fked his phone up for sure.
I now clean my earbuds in a glass of alcohol .Not the drinking kind. 😁

Alcohol does not conduct electricity. This is because it is a covalent compound and does not have free ions that can conduct electricity across it. Alcohol is a stable compound that does not ionize in water; the bonding between alcohol molecules is strong enough to resist the force of water molecules trying to break those bonds.

Most alcohol has a good amount of water. 95% is about as pure as it can be. It can be dried completely, reagent grade, but once open will lower to 95 or so just from sucking the moisture out of the air. I'm not following the part about water not mixing with alcohol. Alcohol is a polar solvent, with mixes readily with water. Either, a non polar solvent will float on top of water.

Greywolf will know! On the other hand, polar non polar notwithstanding, it worked, right?

Here, the look at your lights and breaks. My 2019 isn't old

He aint going anywhere. He wouldn't last a day. 😁
we cant let him go
if he goes ,we will be subject to someone in our group who would try to take his place in avatar devolvement, engineering ,logistics ,placement ,
We would be forced to live with stick figures for avatars, schittty one at that.
All of the other forums would laugh at us and call us sissy marys
In addition, he also covers preforming marriages.

It mixes but does not ionize. And it definitely works because I've cleaned my earbuds and remotes by dropping them in 91% Alcohol.
Submerge them in just water alone and see what happens.

Alcohols and water are both polar and mix at any ratios.

The azeotropic mixture of water and ethanol at atmospheric pressure is about 95%. It is readily available as 190 proof or as 200 proof reagent grade.

The azeotropic mixture of water and Isopropyl at atmospheric pressure is about 87.9%. It is readily available in 91 and 99 percent mixtures. I infer that the 91% grades are azeotropic and done under vacuum.

The 91% will greatly help much less water. The other stuff is only 70%. Important thing is, it worked!

I have heard of folks cleaning computer /laptop keyboards. Like where a sticky beer/drink spilled on keyboard. Soak with alcohol.
