You can pick up a good DIY Split System for a couple of grand. Already comes charged with quick connects.
What I have heard is with these air units inside must be kept clean and could be tough with dust ,dander ,belly button lint....First time I wired one was over 30 years ago for a Chinese restaurant .
I just worked on a bathroom where the home owner had five zones put in . One condenser (BIG ONE ) fed three air handlers inside and a second condenser feeding 2 air handlers on the other side of the house. 5 zones 2 condensors installed with electric 18.5 K
also I think 2 zones may have aux heat in them ....
I agree possibly for a grow tent and not sure about that either**** those mobile units.......just sayin.
exactlyThey are just for an emergency.
I seen yours for sale on FB Market. They are for the ********.
Suck**** those mobile units.......just sayin.
I think a split system is controlled more accurately than a portable . A thing of beauty.Im putting a split air unit in my Big Pantry that im also going to have my grow room in.
Back at my old house in suburbia, I had a decent sized unit in the kitchen window and another in the bedroom. Leave the curtains closed and the bathroom door shut and it would stay cold enough to give ya goose pimples even on the hottest days. The cheapest way to go is to put a split system in your living room, or get one of those mobile AC units and put it by a window.
Lots of ppl use to use them. Just keep them clean and they work fine. Ugly as hell but they work.Back at my old house in suburbia, I had a decent sized unit in the kitchen window and another in the bedroom. Leave the curtains closed and the bathroom door shut and it would stay cold enough to give ya goose pimples even on the hottest days.
If you looked up my addy on a sat map, all you could see is the first six feet of my driveway. The maple trees blocked out the entire house and yard.
Speaking of air ductingI like the Split Air units. Doesnt pick up heat from air ducts in the attic.
