Ya have to be very careful with those time released pain drugs
if you crush or chew they bang you all at once.
I was in so much pain Docs gave me whatever I wanted until I said NO MORE when I was injured years ago.
I reached the point either die or live in pain. I choose to live, but I am not always the happiest living in pain.

Agree. I am not a pill popper either. I do take vitamins and supplements but I hate any pill the doctor prescribes. My first question is .... WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS? I do take BP meds along with pills for a enlarged prostrate and now my doc says anybody my age needs to be on high cholesterol meds regardless of how high or low your cholesterol is. There are times that I wish I had pain pills but I will live without them as long as I can.
Oh I forgot.....arthritis pill for pain.

Only pills I take is kelp. I read the iodine contained in 'em is good for the thyroid. They claim I've got a low functioning one and that there's nodules on it. They were talking needle biopsy, so I want to see if my theory will be the fix.

I take the lowest dose possible of my heart meds.
81 MG aspirin
75 mg Clopidogrel(Blood Thinner)
Half a 25mg Levothyroxin (Thyroid) Has stopped my Afib in its tracks
40mg Pravastatin ( My total Cholesterol is 152)
3.125 Metoprolol (BP Med) My BP average is 127/79

Bitten on left pinky by a Brown Recluse spider yesterday... had a giant blister within minutes and google says it's the Recluse.. never seen it, but pinky is sore to bend.. of course, I did what I wasn't supposed to and drained the blister, washed it good and dripped Iodine into the blister 3x's.. washed it again, covered in Triple Antibiotic ointment and covered.. ugh. today no additional redness around the blister.. like a Black Widow would do.. Keeping an eye on it, taking the night off...

Oh so sorry about that Carty. Watch it really close I had one bite my leg that I eventually had to go to the doc about. It’s good that there is no redness tho. Good luck and feel better soon

One of my last work partner's wife got bit on the pinky by a bashful brown. She went to the doc the next day. For the next seven days, she went to the hospital outpatient for IV's of antibiotics. At the end of the week, they amputated the tip of the finger at the first joint.

They cut out a chunk of my leg when I got bit the poison has some kind of flesh eating thing in it. them Recluse bites are no joke.
