Good morning ya'll!

Another gorgeous day starting at 45F and predicted to reach 72F.

My Auto Cad is back on line in a dedicated computer, which is able to run the 2002 32 bit program. That is the last Auto Cad that I own outright, as they only rented the later versions to me, and I can't justify the costs as a hobby.

Today I need to replace the screens in a couple of rental doors and am still trying to set up service on the furnaces in our rentals.

@GW, I Just had a flashback when you mentioned rentals. I sold my condo rentals years ago. I didn't enjoy being a slumlord! Always some kind of problem to deal with. Having tentals and a cabin 90 miles away was like a second job.

Life is a lot easier to deal with now that I sold everything. I sure do miss the rental income though.

Good morning folks Starting the day with clouds and sprinkles but the weatherman says we may see some sunshine so there’s that if you trust the weatherman. A lot going on in the garden both canna and veggie so I’ll be giving everything a look see to make sure I don’t see anything I’m neglecting. Planning on a visit to the daughters house to deliver baked goods to the grandkids and new bathing suits that I picked up for them the other day.

Life is a lot easier to deal with now that I sold everything. I sure do miss the rental income though.

The income is nice, as is the return on investment and hedge against inflation. We're into both of them for around 10% of their current net worth and got them specifically to provide income in retirement.

The key of course is to choose and maintain good renters.
