Clear skies starting at 29F this morning but predicted to cloud up this afternoon.
Some progress on the garage, so that I can see more of the floor...........
The cleaning ladies are due this morning and an old friend is visiting this afternoon and dropping off some chicken and duck eggs that I plan to make Creme Brulee out of, to compare and do an article on.
Hee, hee, hee, also an opportunity to offload some treasures from my other storage garage, that would be handy on their farm, like a five-gallon bucket of nails and another of high tensile Hercaloy chain from hoists, et al. That will make more room there for treasures currently stored here..............

what a day yesterday……looks like imma gonna have to sell my bunkhouse to pay the dentist
my teethe are pretty well shot and getting new teeth will improve my quality of life so its all good in da hood
gonna make some BHO this morning since its so cold , it is about 3 degrees , going up to 11 woot woot!..
i left some chocolate donuts and Kona coffee on the counter

In my house where I grew up if we had garlic and oil we had pasta ali oio
We grew it couple of years ago with moderate success (170 cloves planted)
End of last year we bought 50 heads of garlic to plant in the fall .
We had good intentions but who knows what happened .
I have been happily working my way thru them .
May make enough soup using double the garlic, and get a run of 8 qts, then can said soup.
If we dont use it it will go bad.
Bagna Cauda fairly popular dish here. Random for some and others at the Holidays.

Aged garlic gets sweeter at least here. Maybe it has to do with soil composition. Your like garlic even a little bit - you are going to love that stuff.

Yes it does .we had bamboo removed and i made raised bed s and bought 7 yards of dirt .
Dirt is dirt and it takes work to make it soil
we have been doing a chop and drop so I think my soil is getting better .
We shall see !
When I make AliOli I cut the top off a little ,put olive oi in it ,wrap in foil and bake at 400 for 45 minutes.
I use fresh garlic minced and squeeze out the baked garlic.
Ethan Chebowski a chef on YT taught me that.
I love Giarda DeLaurentis ! One time She cut herself on Her show I cried for a week !

finally drying up around here enough so that a full bathtub bath isn’t required for my Maryjane every time she comes in from the backyard. Wow those fuzzy feet are like black mops when she’s standing at the door after doing the puppy chase game for a while with her friend Oreo on my neighbors fence line.
(I could use the cleaning ladies myself this morning..)
we are also offloading a lot of stuff useful to others but retired from our life anymore to make more floor space for fun projects.
hope everyone has a nice day planned. My plan is to wash glass doors windows and mirrors today.

we have a small garlic cooker and goes in the oven and when it comes out , the garlic spreads like butter
we have one raised garlic bed about 6’ x 8’ and it was planted last fall after the first frost
so hopefully we will have a few pounds by 4th of July
