Is there a way to test Cal-Mag levels?

So everything I've read says upturned leaf-tips indicates light burn or Calmag deficiency ("praying for mag") and I'm assuming the way to differentiate is light burn is top - down on plant with worst at top and easing as you go down. Does a Calmag issue present evenly throughout the plant (all leaves curled top and bottom of plant)?

I guess my real question is do you have a method for testing Cal/Mag levels?

Please and thank you

Oops oops
I don't know what you mean. The up-curl is on the Gelato and happened two weeks back. I did have it too close to the canopy. The LSD was only slightly affected then. It's actually part of the reason I got the second setup, two different needs and timelines I knew it could only help. Especially during the few yet important transition periods this plant has. Making a plant soldier through 18/6 into flower is like keeping someone up past their bedtime while watching them fall asleep in front of you. So I decided to buy another bedroom so flowering will never be compromised upon its start. Seems like kneecapping the bud building cycle's start.

Mind you I have no clue what I'm talking about. Just trying to think like the plant relative to environment.

I sat there in front of my LSD that's almost at chop-time and there are still tons of new/ newish triches. It's bad enough I'm actually terrified I'm going to fuck this lady up, now it seems there is a raging internal debate on when she will be ready. I had a few foxtails that actually became just fatter overall buds.....I think. They started with a knot-like sprout followed by a bunch more then they evened out resulting in fatter top colas. Still a bunch of clear and cloudy triches but only the very top of each bud shows any amber (excepting pistils which are now 60/40 total amber/white)

And when I say I'm terrified what I mean is I'm hesitant to cut her and once done I'm fearing the dry/cure. It's that "holy shit, I don't know jack about plants" and that just slapped me right across the face. In that I've always been an uncle way......I won't break your kids but I might scratch them on accident. I am probably not making much sense but I've gained so much respect for this process and all that's involved to appear this close to the finish has me nervous.

Know anyplace where the chop, dry and cure are written as you do it? Or anything close to it?

Thanks for the time..........

Some threads show chop wash dry cure. Maybe my first year aug or Sept 2023. Not everyone wadhes. I do especially if I had to use a pesticide like neem oil or DE or if they were outside. I live in sand capital especially if we get wind in dry weather. We get a dust cast not a forecast. Yesterday was a great example it was so windy and had been so dry that the sky was literally brown from dust. I have to wash outside bud. Its controversial for sure. I tried it with one plant, when I first started reading about it. I already had pulled one with out washing of same strain. They were day and night. I never looked back. The potency was the same in washed and unwashed bud. The taste night and day. The taste was clean you could taster all the good stuff. Of course you have to wait for a proper cure. I like a 2 month cure its the best flavor for me. I don't even like to sample my weed now for 2 months. I use grove bags. I hate burping. Glass jars take so much room and when they are first cured you have to burp them every day at first then every few days then once a week. With grove bags I just check them in a few days in to be sure I properly dried them. If they feel dampish at all I put them back on my rack to dry s bit more. Some use the bodiva packs I don't. The bags are supposed to keep them at correct humidity between 58%-62% I believe in them. They are easier for me. Also cheaper than the jars. You have to do what best for you. Try both ways see what you like. You work very hard to get the weed just right. It really is preference after the plant is ready to be chopped. There are a lot of grow journals that go into details about the process.

The buds were so sticky they are now briwn from sand. Not pretty and white like they were. I will get pics in a bit its still dark right now. Today will barely get out of the 50s

I had no message. I posted on the wrong thread. I'ma stoner and often put things in the wrong place and forget..lol

Dude, let's see some pics. Usually a photo plant is getting close or ripe near 70days of 12/12. Autos are more close to 80-100total days.

If the bud is still kicking hairs it's prob still growing. Usually they start to die back a bit near harvest. All cloudy w a sprinkle of amber is what I shoot for.

Harvest time is kinda stressful. Ya don't want fuck it up but that window of harvest stays open for a few weeks.

Pics?
