is something wrong with my baby??

hey guys im antrax newbie from soCal.. well i just started growing my own weed.. i got my seed from my buddy like 2- 2months and a half ago.i water my plant started with 1 jigger of water a day,but when it grew to 5-6 inch i started watering it 3 jiggers a day... sunlight is from 10 till dawn then when i come home i put it under a 60watt light 2inch away from my baby.



pass few weeks ive been lossing time for her.. and suddenly the first 2 leaves that sprung started to dry last week..
question is.. is that normal for my baby??



then right this evening when me and my buddy was looking at it he noticed that theres a bit brownish thing on the leaf... (its starting to dry i think)


can you guys help me out to figure out what wrong with my baby??
i already tried to search for it and found this site but im not really sure if its reliable enough... and i cant post it now cause i need 15 post..

well heres my babys pic..
first pic 3 hours ago. (is the pot size just fine??
2nd pic the first 2 leaves that dried (is this normal?? )
3rd pic is the leaf with the brownish spot (what do you guys think of it? is it a bad sign or is it just normal? )

4 one thing you need to get that plant into something bigger than that cup.when you do repot,plant her up to the bottom set of leaves.and yes it normal for the 1st little leaves to fall off.just repot her and use good soil and nutes.

your leaves are drooping, IMO your watering too much. One "Jigger" as you refer to it every few days and you should see those leaves reaching straight for the light. MJ likes it DRY!

Give it a little less water for now, find a bigger pot with some good soil, give it some more light, and keep your fingers crossed for a female! Good luck!

I get those little yellowish-brown patches on my leaves sometimes too. I don't know what they are, but they're nothing to worry about.

do you have drainage in that pot? don't worry about the first set of leaves - that happens to almost all of the plants and a lot of people use that as a sign of when to start feeding. But all strains are different.

Groworganic is right - you need to get her into a bigger pot and you can then bury her stem right up to the bottom set of good leaves and when you water her, let her dry pretty much all out until you next feed/water her

you should look into getting a few compact flourescent lights, in the soft spectrum. Your local hardward store should carry ones as big as 65 watts. You can get small 70 watt HPS fixtures at the Depot for as low as $60(at least in my area). I think you'd be pleased with the development from the upgrade in light quality.

There's your trouble. Get rid of that immediately, and get some better lighting (read the stickies in the Lighting forum).
