Hey everyone,
Greetings from California, My name is Chris and I have been growing for a year now. It all started for me when my friends dad (old school wise gardener with a spark for teaching)got his medical lisence. Me being a young guy with a mind like a sponge and willingness to learn, jumped at the oppertunity. One week later I was also leagl. From there I rigged up small systems in my garage useing things I could afford to buy from the hardware store...
My first indoor crop consisted of 6, four foot floresents with dual bulb ballast on a pully rope, it was a little akward, but it gave plenty of light to start 30 seeds and veg the 8 females that erupted. I used a mid grade potting soil and regular nutes from lowes.
Thats pretty much how it went with my first three indoor, except my lights improved and my rooms started looking more professional. When out door season came around this year I got ahold of some XXX strain. I herd its a cross between big bud and trainwreck, but am not sure. After much debate with a close family member I was granted permisson to due my gardening on gated property. It was a great year with almost 13 pounds.
I love learning everything I can about our beloved plant and hearing what more experienced growers have to say. This site is such an awesome tool and briliant idea.
I am currently doing an organic hydro with a strain called "headband"
Thanks
Chris
