Well i carn't stand to look at my garden no more.
A wasted piece of ground that currently looks something like
weeds_thistles_9091078.jpg :ccc: , not good lol.

Anyway, i've pulled my thumb out and gone and got all the tools necessary and i'm going to sort out the back section something like
Garden.jpg

I do have neighbours but its still too tempting not to sneak a few small, probably auto's i imagine, into the borders with whatever else i decide to plant.

I'm gona have a look round for info as i've never tended to a garden and plants really but i'd not grown weed till i started and thats going well :D so i guess i'll work it out.

If anyone would like to leave me any suggestions on what kinds of border soil would be appropriate to also plant marijuana in or even if they'd be better in pots or what that would be helpful and could anyone recommend plants that would help to cover the smell or make them blend in well?

Infact if anyone wants to chip something in fire away cos as i said i not done this before so i guess i need all the help i can get lol :48: :fly:

Oh yeah nearly forgot to add, i'm in the UK if that matters to any plants etc you'd of suggested :confused2: it might matter i dunno :D

sorry i'm not much help on this here NB bud good luck on it all.

There are potted plants at the nursery that have the same basic leaf as pot. I used to have a jungle of casterbean plants for cover, and they look alot like weed. As for smell, I guess I'm lucky because we always had and still have plenty of skunks in the areas I've lived. That's the easiest cover in the book, blame the skunk that lives under the house.:)

hey newbud ,,,

keeping them is pots is easier to move about and protect from slugs
use any soil you would for you indoors ladies ,,and if you decide to plant them in the ground dig a deep hole and fill with your soil ,,,goodluck :peace:

I would probably keep them in pots so they can be moved if need be. The situation doesn't sound great but it could be done if you are careful and use good concealment. I'm not really sure what to tell you what to grow with the mj plants but make sure they are concealed. Keep us posted on your progress. Take care and be safe.

Ok so pots sound like the way forward but i'm a coco grower so no experience with soil.

I'll look around at what soil etc.

I figure i can throw the run off from the indoor girls in the garden to feed em lol

Non nutriented soil :)

AK47 Auto's ;)

You will get plenty of help along the journey NB :aok:

:peace:

For the border, look for perennial plants to grow there. They will come back every year for you. Annuals are a waste of time. They grow, flower, then die=wasting your money. I like butterfly bushes for their many attributes. They get 8 feet tall, attract butterflies and hummingbirds, block neighbor's views and you can stash a few potted mj plants under them. Some varieties are even fragrant. Sunflowers are another good border plant. Annuals, but large, fast growers. Look up red sunflowers. There are some very nice looking ones. Canna flowers are perennials, get 6 feet tall and come in lots of great colors. I could go on for hours. Sungold cherry tomatoes get 6 feet tall and are yummy. You shouldn't have any trouble at all filling that border. I would be glad to help, just ask.

Oh yea, you could disguise them with tie on items. Little paper mache cherries or something.:ccc:

Thanks guys :)
HIE you read my mind ;) i look forward to picking your brains :)

420benny Thanx for the input, you were on my list of people to quiz thanx i'll no doubt have plenty of questions for ya :)

SherwoodForest thats such a daft idea it could be good lol

No one will like this but here is what has worked for me.

MG soil
MG veg fert
organic flower fert

JMO

big azz pots and i bury them in giant holes. once, they took off and almost tripled during flower and i had too bring them in under lights to finish.

Good for you!
I suggest getting some MJ that does NOT have much of a smell, such as BC Big Bud--almost no smell. Then, plant it in the furrows between the rows and train it to grow horizontally.
Plant tomatoes on one side with trellises or tomatoe cages and maybe green beans on the other side, also with trellis, as beans climb. (make sure you get climbing beans, not "bush" beans.
Between the row of tomates and the row of beans, nobody will see a horizontal MJ, even when it's 10 feet long.

Dill is an herb that grows pretty fast, too and is kind of...lacy. It would disguise the MJ while still allowing light to get to it. Corn would be a good cover, too, but corn is hard to grow and too late in the season to start. Beans and tomatoes gwof fast. Beans from seed and buy tomatoe plants.

That's about all I can think of...good luck.

I built a lean-to greenhouse whn I was living in nodnoL and grew 8 foot sativas in it very successfully. Not to mention the tomatoes which make a good disguise.

Yeah it crossed my mind but i have my doubts.

Some believe that if you feed plain water in coco then it wrecks the natural balance that builds up through regular fert'd feed and i'm one of those people, tried it once with my indoor girls and they didn't like it so i'm not confident in doing it outside as you carn't control rain.

If i'm going outside i might as well learn about soil and stuff while i'm at it :)
