i started a ton of seedlings in hydro and ran out of room so i threw 5 in dirt.
is it ok to use hydro nutes in dirt and if so is there anything i should know like mixing rates etc?? i have GH 3 part. thanks

What sort of dirt did you use, did you mix it with any perlite or anything?

if you got good dirt then chances are you won't need much in the way of veg nutrients because the soil should take care of it, when you get to flowering though I would personaly just get a bottle of organic bloom if your growing in good soil might as well get the organic goodness out of it,

then you could do a side by side test and tell us which one is better hydro or soil an honest opinion.

yup! everything is fine... typically you would use 1/2 dosage for hydro nutes in soil.

thanks guys... i used organic potting soil with perlite. the seeds i started in this stuff took off great and outgrew the rockwool ones so i just got a bunch more of it.

Kade is right. Hydro nutes pack some punch, I usually start 1/4 strength first to see how the plants react and go from there. I start to nute 2-3 weeks from when the seed breaks ground. Feed, water, water, feed. I am growing three strains right now and one strain is still on 1/4 strength after 6 weeks while the other two strains can tolerate ferts way more.
