I'm new to forums and looking forward to all the knowledge on growing my favorite herb. Have enjoyed smoking since I was 16. Got me through college and university and a 30+ year career.

I enjoy sitting listening to the Blues.
Also, enjoy watching African Cichlids (Tropical fish). Any ideas on using the fish water when I do water changes.

I also have a culture of american red wigglers. Are the casings good for a mix?

I have a 400 MH, and thinking of using CFL's. I have read 42 watt cfl are good. Would a 250 watt CFL be better. I have a line on both the veg. 250 watt cfl and the flowering 250 watt cfl. What is the area of lighting for a 250 watt bulb? I need a place to start. I have been using T8 and T5 lighting for my aquariums, are they both good for starting and growing. I'm starting with seeds. The strain(s) that I have choosen are 420 and RX. Are they easy plants to grow.
I have just been reading "Buds for Less" by SeeMoreBuds. He suggests the 42 watt proceedure.

Is it a good idea to have both the aquarium(s) in the same area.

I have many questions.

Can sit here for hours learning and sharing.

Grow and help the world grow too.

Welcome to MP. Glad to have ya here and hope to see ya around. Enjoy the site! ;)

The 400 mh is great for vegging- it's what I use. I'm also using it for flower, but I don't think my buds are as dense as they could be. I'm going with a switchable HPS on my next grow- cost is about $100.00. Plenty of folks say worm casings are great, but I've never tried them myself. Where are my manners, Welcome aboard and good luck!
