how to find concerts

okay so i just saw a broadcast of a concert from a rock band called staind it was really entertaining and so i no want to go to a concert but when i goggle concerts or ticketmaster concerts they don't have a list on shows in the state in which i live, so basicaly i don't know how to find out what shows i can go see cause I don't know how to find out what concerts are headed my way does any one know how a person can find out what concerts are coming to there area, cause i just can't seem to figuare it out .

Hi scull. I guess live music really depends on who you like and the particular genres you enjoy.

There's a pretty cool iPhone app called vybe. It sees the songs I have on my phone and gives me info on the artists, including their tour dates. I have no idea if its on android.

I live in a big city and listen to the local radio stations a lot. I know when/where the concerts here in my area.

Good luck. I LOVE live music and have been to over 150 concerts.

wow i have only been to around ten concerts and i am the othr way i live in a town small enough that it is called villiage and here we only get four radio stations and one of them is in AM three in FM, thats why i have to search the net for them and them i have to travel a few hours in one direction just to get to them, good thing is theres lots of small towns on the way there.i am going to see if i can down load that app to an ipod

Most concerts are brought to you by some radio station so best thing is to go to your rock radio web site in your city ?????. i am sure there will be up and coming concerts

ive been to over a 100 shows myself, pink floyd, neil young 10 times & tragically hip 10 & many more, best thing going.
id go to the website of the concert halls./ venues in ur area, & see whats coming to town. best of luck, or type in bands u like & see were there going

growing up i used to work as security at a big coliseum
so got to see every band that came there
Black Sabath, Scorpions, pink floyd, skid row, ACDC metelica,bonjovi, Ozzy pretty much every band known lol got to meet plenty of them as well
as a musician my self doing the bar gigs when i was 18 - 28 or so years old , backed up bands like Harlequin, loverboy ,trooper, when we were in the rock , for like 5 years then all bars went country over night.
