In order for them to subpoena an isp for your usage records you would already need to be under investigation. So once again you best chance of getting busted is by running your mouth.</p>

Consider how many home wireless networks are unsecured. I can connect to three of them in my living room at this very moment. So anyone could jump on your wireless connection and do anything. Food for thought.

I don't have wireless in my home for that very reason. Yes I realize that you would have to be under investigation for them to subpoena your records, but if you are under investigation, then they subpoena your records and you have a bazillion hits on here, well, that doesn't exactly help you out.

What cops are going to waste resourses on a 12 plant grow.

There is the possibility of crazy theives who might find your address and come to your house at night hoping to make off with my plants, but thats why you keep your roomates on a 24/7 schedule, a german shepard, and a few guns to exercise the 2nd amendment. I live in the hood, last night my friends car was broken into across the street. I keep my security here extra tight becuase all the petty crime alone makes me tune up.

iClown i agree with what your saying, some little punks nowadays might think to come and rob grow houses. This month alone, 2 people i know of, both dealers (smalltime) who moved maybe a couple pounds a month had their houses broken into and stash stolen. I almost laughed when i heard about it, what idiots. If you are even messing with weight and making money off grows, you should be the most chill and unsuspecting person ever. The reason these commercial grows get busted are because they get too greedy, show off flash with some new trucks and cars. No need to get excessive, i more than pay my rent with less than 15 plants in my baby grow, if you want to gamble with your chances than be prepared to pay the cost. Be prepared to make sacrifices to protect your investment.

And to any would be house theives here, come try me. It would be very unfortunate to have your brain matter splattered across my neighbors house because i will have to pay to get their walls repainted. There are other ways to make money than to rip off people who put alot of work into growing these magical sacraments.

IMO- I think playing it safe and relying gut instinct is better than ne thing. If u r sketching out about posting pics? Then just post pics u have questions of...Lol i wouldn't try bragging about ne thing on this site because it would ultimately hurt u...more than likely. Just be safe, and yesss the gov has ppl called 'hackers' if they rele wanted to find u...they could. Because most of that is the persons job...to trace ppl down. If u r a known felon or have a record...I believe it would be utterly stupid to post pics of ilegal things on the net. Plenty of them. How many small towns are out there with a Barney Fife that just hands out speeding tickets all day? For that cop, busting a 12 plant grow is like being on CSI - Miami.

It seems far more often that incriminating evidence is found on people's personal computers (seized by reason of some culpable behavior on their part) than it is tied back to them from obscure servers of MJ forums. In any event, the latter is a concern that can rectified by the use of proxies.

It also seems unlikely to me that any disclaimer saying what we say isn't literal would be of little help to us in instances of the former. Ex:

I am in the states. I am allowed 6 plants. 3 mature/flowering plants at any one time. I am a "caregiver/provider" for 2 other registered patients.
I usually flower 9-10 plants, twice per year. Once being outdoors.
No "big bro'" doesn't worry me. I've "never" heard of the fed's getting involved in any grows of this size. Especially a medically exempt grow.
"Fed's" are not concerned with "personal use" grows.. it simply doesn't happen. They're involved when "money" is involved..
I'm tellin' ya'.. "You take the money out of the equation, and the fed's don't cares."

Oh yeah just wanted to post that I find this site the safest place for pictures, as soon as I take a picture on my camera and load it to my computer I'm going to upload it to this site then delete it from my computer and camera, then theres noway they can link me to them.

Nothing is ever deleted from your PC. There are folks who specialize in recovering "deleted" files.

Don't count on that if you're busted.

Potus: True...kinda.. lol The trick is to delete and wipe the information with a utility that will write random bits over it. Even doing this once makes the data almost irretrivable and the money it would cost to retrieve such data would be enormous and there are no gaurantees that a computer forensic tech or data recovery specialist could get it. Good point though.
