home heating pad

has anyone tried to germ using a heating pad, such as the one you would use on your back in bed?...

i am using one right now to keep my seeds warm in paper towel, which are setting on a cookie sheet...

i was putting more water on them this morning, and picked up the cookie sheet, and it was pretty cold being i metal pan...then i got this idea. ...

the pan is staying warm slightly. ...

anyone else try to germ in this fashion?...

No, but I need one. I've had a heck of a time germing beans the last few weeks! Lost 2 that popped, saved 1 by putting it on the transformer for my cable modem :hubba:. Wally World tomorrow for me!

Irish I've been using a regular old heating pad for seedlings, and fresh cut clones...it works fine. mine has 3 settings and I set it on low, and put a little fish aquarium thermometer in with the cuts, so that I new how warm they were getting.
