Hi! I'm new to the forum, learning as I go.Actually I'm old to smoking,(been doin it since I was 13). Here it's some 50 years later, And I decide to grow it myself. I'm retired now on a fixed income, and not wanting to hastle buying it on the street and getting ripped off. I had 1 harvest already, starting my 2nd. I messed up the 1st 0ne by not getting the males out early enough. Now that I know that it wont happen again. I dont't do hydro because of the cost. I want to try organic but need to know what I need. There's all this about worm castings, bat guano kelp and more. what' a good soil mixture. What Ive been using is composted cow manure, cactus mix with forest compost, vermiculite, perlite, peat,10-10-10 fertlizer with all the trace elements, bone meal, blood meal. It was pourus. the root system was strong and filled my 10" pots. It was'nt bad, but the males did a number on them, they went to seed. What do expext from an old fart like me. I'd appreciate some tips. :fid::hitchair:
