Growing weed in cups

if you put a clone in say only a foot diameter pot, would it grow to it's full potential? or would the limited space for the roots constrict it's growth severely?

They say your plant will grow as tall in feet as there are gallons in the pot. But there are many things that effect your plants size. Are you trying to yield as much as you can from one single plant? If so, then go with a larger pot because you are going to want your girl to have some huge healthy roots which in turn will lead to larger colas. Keep growing

Also, watch your plants. If your plants start to droop severly even after watering, then thats a good sign the pot is too small. Good luck and keep growing

you could start in cups then transplant, use clear cups to see the roots
