So is there a way I can grow outdoors year round
considering I live in a tropical climate and its always warm?
And will strains not suited for humid climates get bud mold?
Can someone suggest a favorite strain of theirs that would work well
for my situation?

Hey there Tripss,
Your area has always been interesting to me. I got some shirt tail relatives down that way. It amazes me what can grow in that ground. I mean lets look at it, Sandy, heavy salts, a little decomposing plant litter and that's about it.
That was what I saw up around the northern end, and as I went south it just got worse. I am baffled by it. Of coarse there are plants that do well there like the bromiliads, and the epiphites.
I think that if I was going to grow outside there, I would seriously prepare the ground where I was going to plant it. You might even consider a large container sunk into the ground. You get decent drainage, so if the container has holes in it, well you know the rest. I would want to protect my babies from some of that harsh weather, decent shade for the high heat afternoons, wind protection and some sort of canopy that would at least offer protection against mundo rain, and even hail.

Mandalas Kalichakra is a tropical strain ive tryed. Might work for you. Even though your tropical you still have shorter days and it will bud in the fall. slim
