Yo,
That could be a lot of fun. We find a small engine and grow your own right here on the site. Time with it, and just the right amount of light, water, nutes, etc, etc. to make it grow. You pick your beans, but you have to be observant against pests indoor or outdoor as per your choice. and you have to put time and energy into it. I bet a million that everyone would go for it.
What do you guys think ? Where are all these programmers ???

That'd be really freakin cool. I am an Organic Soil Grower but you could do test run on differing methods like DWC and stuff to see how you'd fair. Cool. I like your idea....if that matters

You both are so very right on,
I'm sorta surprised that no-one has done this already, it sounds like it could be fun and a good trial type experience. I'm thinking of looking for a simple engine to play this with. The sims start a grow, LOL

I know there is a software program on the market that lets you grow a cyber plant. I know it was there already in 2000, and I've seen updates later, let me check if i can find it.

Man this is great but now the site is busy guess i will try later

Edit The mirror site worked

Yo Ho,
I got the program pretty much figuered out. I almost tossed it, but being patient I got it working, and have planted three beans, and have set up the lights and the initial watering is done.
This is a great program to test yourself, and your growing abilities. It's not all game, it is a reality program that really does teach well, gonna love this.

You guys should check it out. !!!!

Thanks MarP

A little friendly warning... If you got the free version of this you won't get the growing certificate (that comes with the $$$ version only) and the program will kill your male plants before they can pollinate for seeds. As soon as I found that out I deleted it. Of course, in it's simplicity, it is a fine game to be sure. Also it froze my com when trying to water and surf the net at the same time!:confused2: Anyway the engine claims to be set up to detect computer clock manipulations. That is kind of a crock. It only checks at 12:00 midnight...... Sooooo.... Set your calander (through control panel) back 99 days and plant. Then set your computer clock for some value less than (but preferrably) 11:59PM AND 55+ seconds or so and apply. Let the computer clock turn itself over. If you do this over and over only stopping every few days to water, top, fert or whatever, you will be able to see what this game can do in 30 to 45 minutes. :) Have fun ya'll
