SANY1953.jpg I have 3 Kush Headband under a t5 24/7. They are about 4 weeks, and I just gave them their first feeding last night. I also switched my t5, to a little bigger t5. I started to notice the curling and two small spots, on the middle leaf, b4 I even fed them. Also, they were a little yellow (w/o feeding them.) I fed them @ 250ppm, 5.8ph. When I checked tonight, the ppm was the same, but the ph was high -6.1 I lowered that to 5.5. I thought maybe a little light burn? The curling? I usually feed the girls @ about 4 weeks from seed, just as they are looking a bit yellow. I know many have grow her, so any feedback would be great. Thanks.

Looks like heat stress and light burn.

Thats what I was thinking. Maybe a bit of both. It is a bit warm. I need to get better venting in the veg cab. Thanks peeps.

How warm is it? Do you have exhaust? I don't think it could be light burn. I can get my plants right up next to my T5s without any problems at all, except when the leaves grow into the bulbs and burn a little. However, the leaves actually have to be touching the bulbs for any problems.

The discolored patches are light burn, the rolled leaf edge is heat stress, trust me back off your light.

With my smaller light, it did not get as warm. Even after feeding them, they don't have any more spotting. With the first feeding, and and light, They must have grow another 1/2 inch! And Yes, HG, I need better ventaltion. I had originally used the little box to germ in, then moved them into the Veg/Flower room. I also veged, when the temps were cooler, and had not had the warmer air problem. I opened the cover for the night, to let them get fresh air, and they do seem to be doing better.

I know. Crazy 80 Degree's + in October.

Yours do look sick, but some of my OG Kush 18 had same type of curling, but they were fine. See if they work out in time. green blessing.

I have to disagree with light burn with the plants being under T5 light. The only way to get light burn from T5 is either like THG said or if you have a lot of it on new seedlings or new clones. How many lumens did you have on them when you first noticed the issue?

I am more inclined to believe that they were getting seriously hungry. Being in hydroton (unless yer giving them mineral water) they aren't getting any nutrients until you add it to the water(maybe a tad of nitrogen from the air). Given that they have shot up in growth and are looking much better shortly after feeding them tells me the issue was hunger.

The PH change sort of confirms that they were hungry because they sucked up the nutes very quick and caused the PH to change. I would add another 350ppm worth of nutes in 5 days of first feeding, then in a week, if they are growing vigorously, I would bump the ppm to 500. :)

That could also be a calmag deficiency causing the curl and yellowing. Does your nute regamin have plenty of cal/mag? This is just my opinion, but they look like they have 3-4 nodes on them. I usually start feeding as soon as I get good root growth, which for the strains that I have been growing is usually around the time the second node takes off growing. Once they start showing some vigorous growth I shoot the groceries to 'em.

So, they were looking really good for a couple of days, and now this. They got low on nutes, so I dumped and added new nutes at a low ppm, and 5.7 ph, and I am keeping the door open to get some fresh air moving in there. I moved the light up a bit as well. The Pineapple ExpressSANY1956.jpg
I have been using Dutch Master Gold line 3 part, with Silica, and Root zone conditioner.

SANY1958.jpg seems to be doing well so far, So I'm a little baffled about what's really happening.
