I have started 10 plants in jiffy peat pots that I plan on putting outside in the beginning of june.

They have been going for 7 days and they are about 2.5 inches tall.

I have had a gro-light on them for 24 hours a day for 7 days. Should I continue to keep the light on for 24 hours a day? Or when should I start reducing the ight, and what hours should I reduce it too?

You should leave the light at 24/7 while the plant is indoors. When it's ready to take out, you need to "Harden" the plant.

If you do a Google on "Hardening a plant", you'll get lots of info. It involves taking the plant outside a little at a time each day for a week or two. This prevents it from going into shock when it's left out for 24/7.

Many factors beyond light are involved. Read up on it and let us know how you do.

One more question,... I habe the plants in those little jiffy water expandable jiffy peat pellets, and the roots are now coming through the sides nicely. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to transfer the entire peat moss jiffy pellets in to larger Jiffy peat moss cups with good dirt in them? Or would this halt the growth of the roots too much or something?

I would put them into something larger than that if you're going to continue to grow them indoors. A little 4 inch pot would be good. That will be easy to transplant later.

Are you going to start hardening the plants now?

I put the jiffy bulbs into a larger jiffy peat cups (about 6 inches tall) full of good top soil.

I still have the light on them 24 hrs, and I put a small fan on them today to help strenghthen the stems.

I will start putting them outside for a couple of hours a day to harden them as long as the weather is good.

I hope they grow well, it is just some bagseed so I don't know exacly what the strain is. But next year I definetely want to grow some good Indica.
